Bengali’s simple perfect evening is Tea, biscuits, singara(samosa) and any misti with muri. Yesterday, I was really fortunate to get freshly prepared hot rosogolla (s) from a nearby sweet shop. The guy in the shop saying ‘Hya ekhon r nolen gur bhalo lagbe na, thanda nei’. (Temperature rising, so people wont like nolen gur rosogollas.). I agreed as nolen gur rosogolla (s)are only preferred during winters, rest our white rosogollas are champion and evergreen in appeal. They were so soft and yumm I cannot express the joy and deliciousness, it tasted heavenly.
And as per traditional belief eating freshly made rosogolla can relief a person suffering from stomach upset. The power of chhana or paneer is immense.
